Hiatus

Hiatuses happen, and sometimes we just need a break whether it's planned or not. If you plan to be away from the game longer than a week, just fill out the form below and submit it. Breaks of two weeks to a month will exempt you from AC. If for some unforeseen circumstance you need longer than a month, please contact the mods.

These are your options for your characters when you hiatus:

Autopilot: On autopilot, characters do all the normal things they do in the course of a day, get their collar taken care of, etc. You may wish to make arrangements with other players to decide who will help them with their collar and handwave the logs, or you can use NPCs. It's up to you.

Caved: Characters find themselves lost in the Caves of Desire, totally alone. Once lost, their collars will remain loose. There is sufficient food and game of sorts in the caves to survive, characters just have to forage or hunt for it.

Basically what happens when your character is in the caves are up to you! Maybe your character uses the time to sort through their thoughts and feelings about being on the island! But maybe they're lost in the caves find themselves facing their worst nightmares or enemies of their canon, though they are incorporeal and cannot physically harm them. Whatever happens, though, when they come back out (AKA the player comes off hiatus), their collar will be back to the same state it was before going in.

This option is STRONGLY recommended for hiatuses longer than a week.
